Breckenridge Bluegrass & Beer Pours Into September

BRECKENRIDGE, Colo., Sept. 4, 2026 — It is still summer on the calendar, but fall and flannel are trending in the Summit. Breckenridge Bluegrass & Beer, presented by Breckenridge Brewery and Broken Compass Brewing, returns Saturday, Sept. 12, to Main Street Station during a full-on leaf-color blast! Best known for its friendly, welcoming mountain-town atmosphere, the festival also showcases a wide range of breweries from across Colorado and beyond.

The celebration kicks off Friday, Sept. 11, with the Beer Pairing Dinner from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Sauce on the Maggie. Two familiar names in the Summit County beer community, Jimmy Walker, Head Brewer at Breckenridge Brewery, and Jason Ford, Founder of Broken Compass Brewing, will guide guests through seasonal beer pairings alongside a multi-course menu from Executive Chef Michael Irwin.

Saturday’s main event is the Grand Tasting from 2 to 6 p.m. at Main Street Station, with samples from regional and national breweries and live music from Grass It Up throughout the afternoon.

VIP guests start with access to the VIP Lounge at Quandary Grille from 12:30 to 5 p.m. and early tasting entry at 1 p.m. The lounge features indoor seating, a patio with Peak 9 views, a fully catered buffet, and additional premium beer selections.

On Sunday, Sept. 13, brunch returns to Sauce on the Maggie from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with more beer samples, Bloody Marys, mimosas, a full food spread, and one more chance to gather before the event wraps.

Grand Tasting tickets are $50 in advance and $60 at the gate, while Saturday VIP tickets are $150. The $250 All-Access passincludes Friday’s Beer Pairing Dinner, Saturday’s VIP experience, and Sunday brunch. Guests can also purchase the Beer Pairing Dinner and Sunday brunch separately. Tickets are available through Eventbrite, with additional fees applied at checkout.
