The Breckenridge Agave Festival, presented by Proximo, brings together margaritas, mezcal, tequila, and a full lineup of flavor-driven experiences across Main Street Station and The Village at Breckenridge. Whether you are here for the Grand Tasting or the all-access Friday Agave Pairing Dinner and Sunday Brunch, this is your invitation to linger a little longer in one of Colorado’s favorite mountain towns.

The 2026 Margarita Competition

Got a palate for a good marg? You are the judge.

Your festival pass includes access to the all-new 2026 Margarita Competition. Taste, vote, and help decide which margarita comes out on top as tequila brands bring their best house recipes or team up with local bartenders to create a signature mountain cocktail.

The top entry earns $500 in cash and serious bragging rights. Results will be announced at 5:30 PM on the Main Street Station stage.

El Salvaje Latin Vinyl DJ – Main Street Station Stage

Born in California and raised in the rural landscapes of Querétaro, Mexico, Eduardo Mendoza-better known as EI Salvaje-is a vinyl selector and music lover dedicated to sharing the sounds, instruments, and rhythms of Latin America. Since migrating to Colorado in 2016, he has traveled extensively through Mexico, the U.S., and across Latin America, shaping a unique musical style full of contrasts and cultural influences.

In November 2024, while traveling through Barcelona, Spain, El Salvaje made his debut as a vinyl DJ, performing at bars and restaurants and sparking his passion for curated vinyl sessions.

Mike Emery (DJ NME1) has been shaping sound since the cassette era, evolving from vinyl DJing in the ’90s to a multifaceted career in live production, club ownership, and touring performance. He’s shared stages with artists like Flava Flav, Macklemore, and Slightly Stoopid, and has performed for brands including Red Bull, Keystone Resort, and Zumiez. With over 1,000 events, radio mixes on KSMT 102.1 FM, and residencies in Breckenridge and San Diego, DJ NME1 delivers high-energy sets blending turntablism, visuals, and crowd-driven vibes.

Help out at Breckenridge Agave Festival

Split your day volunteering at the Saturday event and enjoying the Grand Tasting. A four hour shift gets you a ticket for the rest of the event. Shifts run from 12:30-6:00pm on Saturday.
